- The Missions Contracting Office (MCO) Center-Fort Bragg, NC. Is issuing this Source Sought as a means of conducting market research to parties having interest in and the resources to publish a new book entitled "Double Eagle", this book is the product of The Fallen Warrior Project. The project will chronicle the history and biographies of the 198 Army Reserve Soldiers who were killed in the Global War on Terror (2001 to 2012), the book will be approximately 900 pages, with graphic designs, and layouts. The layouts are required to convert text, photos, and graphics into a production ready CD. The CD will be sent to the Government Printing Office to produce the book. This requirement will require the contractor to publish (1) each book, and (2) each CD's, this CD will contain the complete "printer - ready" software. The book is written in accordance with AR870-5 (sections 4-4 Functions of Army history offices and section 2-1 Army Historical Program); as follows AR70-5 sections 3-1.b; 3-2.c; 4-4.b.; 4-7.a; B-1; and 2-1.a.(1).(2).(6). The Government's market research is based on FAR Part 19 and the result or the market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.
