- Security Chart Past Performance Questionnaire Solicitation FDA1100902 The FDA has a requirement for the development of asynchronous web-based, synchronous web-based, synchronous classroom and laboratory training with respect to the manufacture of biological therapeutic drugs. The goal of this project is to provide Food and Drug Administration (FDA) investigators with a greater understanding of the manufacturing principles and processes in order to expand the scope of their inspections. Under the auspices of the FDA Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA), Division of Human Resource Development (DHRD) training program, a contractor is to provide a curriculum that will expose investigators to the typical process conducted in a biopharmaceutical facility such as equipment design, product manufacturing processes, and analytical testing methods. Courses offered will include significant instruction through distance learning technologies, followed by classroom instruction coupled with practical experience in the vendor's facilities. DHRD is interested in working with an institution that does not produce for-profit pharmaceutical products as that would create a conflict of interest. Please see the attached solicitation.
