- The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS), Pittsburgh, PA is issuing this Sources Sought notice to determine the availability of Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) that possess the experience and capabilities to provide Construction services for Project #646-09-101 "Upgrade Ventilation Systems at University Drive". This Sources Sought Notice is for market research purposes only. This is NOT a request for proposals. Prospective firms' CCR registration must be current. SDVOSB's must be verified by CVE in VetBiz. The applicable NAICS code is 541330 with a small business size standard of $4.5 million. The construction cost estimate is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. This project will involve upgrading and replacing the ventilation systems in approximately 43,000 square feet of office space of the partial West Wings of the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Floors and the entire West Wings of the Seventh, Eighth, Ninth, Tenth, and Eleventh Floors of Building One at the University Drive Division of the VAPHS. This work includes (but is not limited to) electrical, mechanical (including HVAC and control replacement), plumbing, structural, asbestos abatement, monitoring, and site modifications. No further information is available at this time. Interested parties must register on the "Interested Vendors List" of this FBO announcement no later than COB on May 4, 2012.
