- This Modification to the Sources Sought Notice is to provide clarifying information and a draft Statement of Work. The following clarification information is provided: Part numbers for the original engine monitoring gauges Turbine Temp50-389102-25 Torque100-384048-3 Prop Tach50-380035-1 Turbine Tach50-380034-3 Fuel Flow90-380009-5 Oil Pressure100-384117-7 New gauges must provide the same form/fit and equivalent function. New gauges must be standard 2 inch diameter gauges and must operate with 28VDC power. Please provide MTBF (mean time between failure) data for the proposed gauges. The contractor shall hold a federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) authorizing use of their proposed engine monitoring gauges in T-44 aircraft. A draft Statement of Work is attached. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responses will not restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach or be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for the information requested herein. Evaluation results will not be provided to contractors responding to this synopsis. No phone calls will be accepted. Responses shall be in writing and sent by email to Mr. William Z. Legg, william.legg@navy.mil. The responses shall be submitted no later than 2:00 P.M. EST (local Jacksonville, FL) on May 4, 2012. NOTE: THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY AND SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. NO REIMBURESEMNT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING A RESPONSE TO THIS REQUEST. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY.
