SOURCES SOUGHT FOR INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT PROGRAM (GENERAL PEST CONTROL): (W911RX-12-B-0003) U.S. Army FT Riley Environmental-Department of Public Works (DPW) PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS A POTENTIAL SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ISSUED ONLY TO CONDUCT A MARKET RESEARCH STUDY FOR AN ANTICIPATED MILITARY PROGRAM. The information received will be used within the Environmental-Department of Public Works, Fort Riley, Kansas, to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside of the organization. This announcement is not a request for proposals, but a survey of the market for potential sources. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Environmental Department of Public Works, FT. Riley, KS is seeking a Total Small Business with current relevant experience, personnel, and capability to provide the necessary labor, materials, equipment to accomplish surveillance, trapping, pesticide application and pest removal as per the Integrated Pest Management Program (Pest Control Services) for the U.S. Army in FT Riley, KS. The project if awarded under a contract will include all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide pest control services using integrated pest management techniques. Work includes, but is not limited to, the performance of nuisance, structural, pests of stored products, disease vector, and other miscellaneous pest control services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code(s) should be classified under is 561710 (Exterminating and Pest Control Services), with a corresponding Small Business Size Standard of $7.0 Million. The proposed contract if awarded is anticipated to be a requirements type project to responsible company with recent and relevant experience in previous projects dating back not more than three (3) years. Interested sources are invited to respond to this sources sought announcement utilizing their company letterhead in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or Microsoft Word Document. 1)Contractor Information: Provide your firm's contact information with a central POC with Company Cage Code and DUNS Number. 2)Identify type of Small Business under listed NAICS code of 561710 (e.g. 8a, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Woman Owned and etc). For more information on the definitions or requirements for these small business programs, refer to http://www.sba.gov/. 3)Personnel: General experience of management and staff in terms of years and type of Pest Control Measures predominately practiced. No resumes. 4)Past Performance: Submit a maximum of 5 government or commercial contracts/projects your company has completed in the last three (3) years demonstrating your experience in using integrated pest management techniques. This past experience may be for the military and/or commercial nonresidential buildings related work. For each of the contracts/projects submitted for experience, provide the title; location; whether prime or subcontractor work; award and completion dates; contract or subcontract value; type of work; type of contract; a narrative description of the services provided by your firm; and customer information including point of contact, phone number, and email address.
