- THIS IS AN ACTUAL SOLICITATION NOT A PRE-SOLICITATION Construct and Install Shelving and Closet Poles at the Department of the Interior, Washington, DC 20240 See Attachments in the link for details VENDOR QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS (1) In the SOW it has a list of room numbers, is the number at the end 1 or 2 number of closets for that room?Yes, the # 1 or # 2 is the number of shelving/ poles to be constructed in each closet. If the number is 1 (one shelf and one closet pole) (2) Is there and average length for each closet?The lengths of the closets are 41" in length (standard size) (3) How many shelves per closet? And how many Closets?"One shelf and one pole per closet. There are approximately 152 closets. See document labeled Closet Project (4) Is there a building standard paint color?The shelving must match the office closet color. The COTR will provide color name and number at start of project. (5) Is there a preferred material?The shelving materials can be 1/2" finishing plywood on one side or standard 5/8" pine 16" shelving board. The closet pole may be wood or metal 1 1/4'" or 1 1/2" round.
