- In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.203(a); the USFWS has a need of a contract for Bunkhouse monitoring and minor facility and equipment maintenance for one (1) base year plus four (4) optional one (1) year periods. The set aside for the solicitation will be 100% Total Set Aside for Small Business with the NAISC Classification Code of 561790, size standard is $7.0M. NOTE: This announcement is not the formal request for quote and does not contain all information pertaining to the requirement. Interested parties wishing to obtain a copy of the solicitation package F12PS00398 may look on https://www.fbo.gov on or after May 16, 2012. The solicitation line will route to FedConnect website containing all solicitation materials. Overview: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service owns and operates a bunkhouse and aviation fueling sites in and near Kaktovik, Alaska on Barter Island. These sites serve as temporary quarters and remote fueling stations for Refuge operations and other supporting agency staff and aircraft performing biological and law enforcement activities at Arctic National Wildlife refuge. The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, and all that is necessary to complete the following scope of work, with the exception of that which is listed as Government provided. Contractor shall supply incidental tools appropriate for maintenance and monitoring.
