- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation covers parts necessary to complete the Spillway Control System Upgrade at Chief Joseph Dam. The spillway control system requires the procurement of absolute shaft encoders, conduit and associated fittings, multi-function displays, power supplies and a control cabinet to be placed in DSQ-1. The government has put together a Bill of Materials (BOM) in which some parts are specifically called out to meet design requirements. These cases are noted specifically and any change from the specified products needs to be approved by the government before the substitution can be made. Some of these items require that there can be no substitutions and they are noted as well.
