- Description
- Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for the Repair by replacement of terminal units and smoke dampers. Work includes the removal of terminal units and replacing them with new digitally controlled terminal units. Some units will require hot water piping. Several smoke dampers will be replaced with new smoke dampers with digital controls. Ceiling tiles and grid must be removed and reinstalled to accommodate the work. All of the areas will remain occupied for the duration of the contract. The contractor will be required to perform this work outside of normal working hours. The contractor shall be required to maintain HVAC service throughout the contract. The work shall be performed by a mechanical contractor who has demonstrated experience in replacing ductwork, terminal units, and controls. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable NGA, EPA, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. The performance period for this project is 240 calendar days. The project will be completed in a single phase. The approximate cost of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This project is 100 percent set-aside fo small business. The NAICS code for this project is 238220, size standard is $14.0M. This work is located at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency facilities at 3200 South Second Street, St. Louis, MO 63118-3399.
