- Description
- The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Information Admin, intends to award a sole source contract to SNL Financial, LLC. This award will be for one (1) year. To provide daily spot natural gas, electric and coal prices which can be republished externally, access to news and analysis database, as well as an energy mapping platform. This is available as a desktop web function with open access to all EIA employees. The proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. Interested parties should submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement within seven calendar days of publication of this notice, to be considered by the Gov ernment. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
