- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award. US Department of Labor 200 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20210, require court reporting support services to Bayley Reporting Inc currently in use by Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges. This Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition is prepared with regard to the acquisition of Court Reporting Services in support of a sole-source contract action for the Administrative Law Judges. The authority for this justification is FAR 6.302-2 Unusual and Compelling Urgency. No other source and no other supplies/services will satisfy agency requirement. The resultant contract action will be procured in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15 and awarded as new, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract. This exception to synopsis and the actions covered herein entail a sole source contract with Bayley Reporting Inc who is the incumbent contractor for Court Reporting Services at the Eastern, Northeast and Southern Regional. The current contract DOLB129432950 expired December 30, 2011, the ultimate completion date of September 30, 2012 to accommodate the reacquisition of the court reporting services by Bayley Reporting Inc. The existing Courting Reporting Service is approved to maintain the Administrative Law Judges missions.
