- AAC/PKOB, Eglin AFB, FL, awarded a sole source firm-fixed price contract for one (1) VTC Purchase and Installation to the 46th Test Wing (TW) under the authority of FAR 6.302-2. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001: (1 Each) VTC Purchase and Installation The delivery date is 31 May 2012. This award incorporated provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 05-58, April 18, 2012. All terms and conditions within the clauses were consistent with commercial item practices. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 334220 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. Interested parties may not identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. In accordance with FAR 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions, all contract awards must be synopsized through the GPE for actions exceeding $25,000. A proposed contract action synopsis/solicitation was not required for the subject order/contract prior to award due to a determination by the government to compete this contract via oral solicitations, which was based on the procedures for Unusual and Compelling Urgency (FAR 6.302-2).
