- This is a MODIFICATION TO Pre-solicitation Notice. **DATE OF SOLICITATION POSTING AND RECEIPT OF OFFERS HAS CHANGED** Fleet Logistic Center Puget Sound (FLCPS) will be soliciting for 47 line items, and shipping for various telecommunication products for Naval Telecommunications Station Far East, Japan, in accordance with specifications to be provided in the solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to the NECO website as unrestricted, for limited Sole Source Manufacturers on or about May 10, 2012 with proposals due on or about June 11, 2012. Limited Source Manufacturers: Corning, Chatsworth, Panduit, Cisco, APC, and Allied Telesis, etc per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A Firm-Fixed Price, Supply type contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 15, Commercial Acquisition Procedures. Destination information is determined to be FOB Destination. Specific instructions will be listed in the solicitation. Delivery anticipated within 30 days of contract award. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
