- This is a request for information notice only. This is not a request for proposals and no contract shall be awarded. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center, Fort McCoy, WI is conducting market research in order to determine if a HUBZone set aside action is feasible for this acquisition. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center's determination on how to complete the proposed requirement will be based on responses to this notice and is the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer. Work to be performed under this firm, fixed-price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238210- Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors with a small business size standard of $14 million. Project Magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform the work under this contract including but not limited to: 1.Install new air conditioning in facilities at Fort McCoy, WI 2.Replace failed or failing air conditioning units in facilities at Fort McCoy, WI 3.Repair work: Contractor shall repair any damages caused by this construction, including but not limited to: a.Repair any existing construction which is damaged. b.Repair any landscaping including trees, shrubs, flowers, and grass. c.Repair vehicle ruts. Level the ruts, place topsoil, and seed the disturbed areas according to the specifications. d.Repair ceilings where removed, or replace if damaged at no additional costs. e.Repair or replace insulation on HVAC systems where disturbed by work at not additional costs. Responses to this announcement must be received no later than 4:00 pm on Thursday, May 3, 2012.
