- Description
- The Information Technology Services Office of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is soliciting services to support, maintain, operate and monitor the Microsoft Exchange Outlook mail system. NAICS: 541512 with a size standard of $12,000,000.00. The nature, scope, and complexity of these activites requires the contractor to monitor the Microsoft Exchange system without requiring daily onsite staff as well as providing a 24x7x365 helpdesk where an engineer answers the call and provides technical assistance and no triaging of calls will be accepted. All support must be provided by resources in the continental United States. Cost for the service will be as a cost per mailbox quote. The contractor shall manage all the Microsoft Exchange servers, the ISA servers, SQL servers, TMG servers, EMC storage management, BES servers, DPM backup servers and Symantec message labs for Windows server monitoring, Windows server maintenance, Windows server upgrades and patching, and Windows server reports. The contractor shall provide Tier II and Tier III technical support for storage; storage monitoring, storage maintenance, storage upgrades and patching, as well as storage reports. The contractor shall provide Exchange server administration; monitoring, maintenance, upgrades and patching, Exchange server reports, and Exchange personal archive mailbox management. The performance period is for five years, including option periods. The Government intends to set-aside the contract award to qualified small businesses.
