- This is a reposting/modification to FBO synopsis N40443-12-R-0087. The Military Sealift Command, Ship Support Unit San Diego (MSC SSU SD), will be issuing a solicitation for CONUS West Coast and Hawaii general ship repair (GSR) requirements. Three solicitations will be issued for the following locations: San Diego, CA (N40443-12-R-0087); Puget Sound area in WA (N40443-12-R-0138); and Honolulu, HI (N40443-12-R-0140). Offerors may submit proposals for one or more regions. Offerors will be evaluated on their ability to support requirements in the geographic areas that they submit proposals for. The Government intends to award a multiple award contract (MAC) with a base year period of performance and ONE, one-year option period. The anticipated start of the base period of performance is 01 July 2012. Contract Delivery Orders will range in value from $2,500 to the maximum order value of $2,000,000. It is anticipated that GCPC cardholders will issue individual requirements under $3,000 for services that incorporate the terms and conditions of this MAC. MSRA/ABR requirements will be determined on a per-order basis and predicated upon the complexity of the requirement. The tentative time frame for solicitation issue is April 2012. The tentative closing time and date of the solicitation is TBD. Once posted, the solicitation and all related documentation will be available on MSC's Website.
