Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Office of Acquisition Logistics and Construction, National Acquisition Center, Business Resource Service solicits at this time for service to provide all necessary equipment, labor and materials to perform Install Fire Wall and Conference Room, at the Service Distribution Center, located at 1st Avenue, One Block North of 22nd Street/Cermak, Hines, Illinois 60141, as described in the project SOW/Specifications. This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). All qualified SDVOSB offerors/firms who believe they can satisfy the solicitation requirements are invited and encouraged to provide their quote/offer. The project encompasses construction of an interior 2 hour fire rated wall and the upgrade of an existing conference room inside Building 37. The new approximately 366 foot long fire rated wall will start at Column Line P and proceed south to Column Line Z cutting in and out (east and west) at Column Lines P, S, W, and Z. The project also includes the upgrade of Conference Room 167 and the construction of a new Conference Room 167B. The project will require close coordination with new HVAC system. The cost range of this project is between $250,000 - $500,000. The size standard for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 236220. The solicitation documents including specifications and drawings will be issued on or about May 14, 2012 with bid opening on or about June 13, 2012. Time for completion is 180 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. Offerors are reminded to complete all sections of the solicitation, including the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. A Site Visit is available (please see instructions in the solicitation). Site Visit's are highly encouraged for this requirement, but are not mandatory.
