- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) has a requirement for the purchase of 500 EACH RAMP LOCK ACTUATOR PN:KFS4730-LA36-ACT and 250 EACH VALVE SOLENOID PN:KFS4730-SVP08-2WAY. The Government intends to issue sole source award to Kraft Fluid Systems, Inc. (7N474). The statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competitition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1, when there is a supply or service available only from one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the agency's needs. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis with Kraft Fluid Systems, Inc., Cage Code 7N474, 14300 Foltz Parkway, Strongsville, OH 44149. The FOB point is Letterkenny Army Depot (Destination). Solicitation number W911N2-12-R-0040 will be released O/A 03 MAY 2012, closing date O/A 22 MAY 2012. The annotated closing date for this solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. All interested sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency. A copy of the solicitation can be downloaded from https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ on or about 03 MAY 2012.
