- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FedBizOpps (http://www.fbo.gov) and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil). Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic intends to award a sole source contract for commercial purchase of 50 training vouchers for CCIM courses; The VIP A package which includes CI 101, CI 102, CI 103 and CI 104. Only one responsible source is able to provide the type of services that will satisfy the agency requirements; the Government intends to negotiate solely with CCIM Institute, 430 N Michigan Ave, Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60611-4011. This sole source acquisition meets the conditions of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. All information received by the closing response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no written responses are received by 2 May 2012, the contract will be awarded without further notice. The RFQ number is N62470-12-T-5012. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-58 and DFARS Change Notice 20110420. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 611430, Professional and Management Development Training, and the SBA size standard is $7 million.
