- Construction Requirement: Specialty Treatment Expansion Project Number 673-CSI-100. This procurement is 100% set aside for verified Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Size standard under NAICS 236210 is $33.5 million; Project Cost Range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Location of work is at The Department of Veterans Affairs, James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (VA), 13000 Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, Tampa, Florida 33612. Requirement: Project No. 673-CSI-100, titled Specialty Treatment Expansion. Vendor shall provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, supervision, and tools to complete the project. The general scope of work includes: demolition, site preparation, masonry, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and various other tasks. Site Visit: The site visit for Project No. 673-CSI-100, Specialty Treatment Expansion, is scheduled for May 9, 2012 at 09:00 am EDT. The site visit will be held at James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital at 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd in Tampa, FL 33612. Interested participants will assemble outside Building 42 (located next to the VA Hospital) located at 2702 131st Street, Tampa, Florida 33612. Prospective offerors are highly encouraged to attend the site visit to view the project site layout firsthand. Solicitation Issuance: The solicitation for this requirement will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website on May 1, 2012. The solicitation will provide the general requirements, the project specifications, drawings, RFI/Question submittal instructions, award selection evaluation factors, and the proposal due date. After the solicitation is posted, prospective verified SDVOSBs may submit questions via email to regina.height@va.gov. No phone calls will be accepted.
