- Pre-solicitation Notice for a Live Fire Shoot House System The MICC Fort Carson Installation Contracting Office intends to issue a Combined Synopsis-Solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP) for a commercial Live Fire Shoot House System to be used at range 131C on Fort Carson, Colorado. The result of this RFP will be a Firm-Fixed Price commercial contract with an anticipated award date of May 2012. The Government intends to award a single contract. The anticipated issuance date for this Combined Synopsis-Solicitation RFP is on or about 25 April 2012. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the Combined Synopsis-Solicitation RFP document. The requirement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 332999 with a size standard of 500 No. of employees. The entire Combined Synopsis-Solicitation will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at http://www.fbo.gov and the Army Acquisition Business Website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. Interested offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the Combined Synopsis-Solicitation document and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the Combined Synopsis-Solicitation document and any amendments. Any and all amendments shall be acknowledged within your proposal. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database or their proposal will not be considered. Contractors can obtain further information on the CCR website at: http://www.ccr.gov. Questions regarding this synopsis shall be in writing and directed to Jerry L. Hodson at: jerry.l.hodson.civ@mail.mil. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for proposal preparation costs. This project consists of a 1,748 square foot (46ft x 38ft) live fire shoot house system, with all components, on an existing concrete pad, underneath an existing overhead awning at Range 131C, Fort Carson Colorado as outlined in the floor plan drawings and item description. Installation of the shoot house system shall be in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. The components of this live fire shoot house shall include ballistic, sliding breaching doors & windows, exterior ballistic protection, rubber paneling and rubberized blocks, and a metal catwalk.
