This is to advise all interested parties of the Posting of Q&A's - SET 1 as a separate ATTACHMENT in FEDBIZOPS. Q&A SET 2 will be forthcoming. Offerors may submit questions concerning the Request for Proposal (RFP)to the Contracting Officer, Tom Griffin by email Tom.Griffin@tma.osd.mil at any time prior to proposal submission. The Government will post the Questions and Answers on this FEDBIZOPS website for the benefit of all interested parties. In order to provide expeditious responses to all the interested parties, TRICARE Management Activity requests that questions be submitted NLT Thursday, April 5, 2012. Questions submitted after this date may be answered as time permits. NOTE: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. SEE ATTACHMENTS (RFP HT9402-11-R-0001) The Department of Defense, TRICARE Management Activity (TMA) has a requirement for retiree dental services for all eligible personnel retired from the Uniformed Services, to un-remarried surviving spouses, eligible dependents, former members of the armed forces who are Medal of Honor recipients and their eligible dependents. The objectives of the contract are (1) sustain or increase TRICARE RETIREE DENTAL PROGRAM (TRDP) enrollment; (2) increase enrolled members' utilization of diagnostic and preventive services; (3) establish and maintain high levels of enrollee and provider satisfaction; and, (4) promote preventive dental services among enrolled diabetics. The performance period of this requirement includes a base year and five one-year option periods. Source selection procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 15 will be used to determine the successful offeror. The anticipated date for issuance of the Request for Proposals (RFP) is on or about March 15, 2012. The projected award date is November 2012. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Agency. No hard copies will be mailed. The RFP will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website at https://www.fbo.gov. Offerors interested in submitting a proposal must register at the FBO website in order to be added to the mailing list and to ensure receipt of future information regarding this requirement. It is anticipated that offerors will have 45 days for proposal preparation. Offers must be valid for 180 days from the submittal date. The TMA website http://www.tricare.mil/tma/ams/ams_solicitations.aspx will accommodate the ordering of data (with a receipt of a Non-Disclosure Agreement from interested offerors).
