- Description
- Contractor required to complete construction project 568-12-203 Repair Exterior Dom Porches and Greenhouse at the VA Black Hills Health Care System, Hot Springs, SD. Work consists of, but is not limited to, providing all labor, materials, tools and equipment and necessary supervision to perform general construction, demolition, painting, window installation and glazing repair. Existing paint does contain lead. All work to be performed within accordance to the contract specifications and drawings. Construction estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Construction period is 120 calendar days. This project is set aside 100% for service disabled veteran owned small businesses (SDVOSB) with a NAICS code of 238320 Painting and Wall Covering Contractors. Business size is $14 million. Award of this project shall be in accordance with Public Law (PL) 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Health Care and Information Technology Act of 2006. All SDVOSBs shall be registered in the Central Contractors Registry (CCR); http://www.ccr.gov, the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA); https://orca.bpn.gov as well as certified in the VetBiz Vendor Information pages (VIP) database; www.VetBiz.gov, in order to be eligible for award. Technical and Cost proposals will be accepted from responsible and responsive contractors only. Solicitation documents will be available approximately May 14, 2012 and will be available only in electronic format on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website; http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Receipt of proposals are due June 15, 2012 by close of business 4:00pm MST.
