- Sole Source Intent: The United States Army Contracting Command, Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Yuma, U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to issue a modification to contract W9124R-09-P-1115 to extend services for five (5) months with Power Product Services, Inc., 7003 E 47th Ave Dr Unit A600 Denver, CO 80216-3458. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 335999 with a size standard of 500 employees. The contract contains FAR Clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services (Nov 1999), 'The Government may require continued performance of any services.' The services are for maintenance on GNB Uninterruptable Power Battery Racks throughout 20 sites on YPG installation, to include an additional quantity of thirty-one (31) Load Tests and Change out of batteries. Power Product Services, Inc. is the only GNB authorized dealer in Arizona. If an unauthorized company were to repair the batteries the warranty would be void. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide this service, you may submit technical literature showing your capability of meeting the Government's requirement no later than 9:00 AM MST on 30 April 2012. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed requirement. Responses other than the above source may identify their interest and capabilities to perform the requirement by submitting a proposal via email or facsimile with complete mailing address, point of contact, phone number, facsimile number, business size and shall be clearly marked with reference number W9124R-12-T-1026.
