- Description
- This is a synopsis/pre-solicitation notice for non-commercial services. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia Site intends to solicit, on a 100% 8(a) small business set-aside basis, for services that provide Engineering, Technical, and Logistic and installation support, including the engineering and technical support personnel and facilities, required to support all U.S Navy Submarine and Surface Ship Hull, Mechanical and Electrical Systems. The contractor shall be required to provide support to the Program Office and the Program Field Offices. Locations include, but are not limited to: Philadelphia, PA; Norfolk, VA; Groton, CT; Portsmouth, NH; Mayport, FL; Kings Bay GA; Pascagoula MS; Bath, ME; Bangor, ME; Everett, WA; San Diego, CA; Bremerton, WA; Pearl Harbor, HI and Guam. In addition, the contractor shall provide support to US Army, US Coast Guard, Military Sealift Command and foreign Navies via the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. Foreign countries currently engaged are Spain, Egypt, Australia, Turkey, Pakistan, Poland, and Greece. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 336611. The solicitation is expected to result in a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) type contract. Upon its release, the solicitation will be made available electronically at the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. A hard copy of the solicitation will not be made available. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award. See www.ccr.gov for further information and instructions. The solicitation is expected to be released on or after 25 May 2012.
