- Requirements and small business sheet REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY: This request for information is for planning purposes only, and does not constitute an Invitation for Bid, Request for Proposal, Solicitation, and Request for Quote, or an indication that the Government will contract for the items identified in this RFI. The Government does not intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request. The Government does not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this RFI. Any responses received will not be considered nor used as a proposal. The Department of Homeland Security, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) is conducting market research for the purpose of identifying possible sources and the availability of Commercial Off the shelf (COTS) survey software to be used at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, GA and the web hosting of such software. The purpose of this notice is to identify potential contractors who have the skills experience and knowledge to successfully provide COTS systems. The FLETC requests the following information from potential sources: • Company name, Duns number, street address and point of contact with phone number and email address. • Provide a brief capability statement (not to exceed 5 pages excluding brochures, pamphlets, catalogs and website information) based on the requirements stated in the attached documents • What is your socioeconomic status? (see attachment) • Do you currently have contracts with any on other government agencies ( to include federal, state and local for firearms simulators)? If so please provide the Agency name and POC contact information if possible. • Do you have a current GSA contract for survey software, if so please provide the GSA schedule number.and FSC codes • Please provide commercially available price lists for this software and your hosting capabilities. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes. There is no guarantee that the Government will pursue a solicitation for any of the requirements identified in the future. All information received in response to this RFI will NOT BE RETURNED. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. All information should be directed to Mr. Douglas Marshall via email : douglas.marshall1@dhs.gov or by facsimile to 912-267-3132. Questions or requested clarifications regarding this Request for Information must be submitted no later than May 4, 2012 at 3PM eastern standard time.
