- Raystown Lake is located in Huntingdon County, South-central Pennsylvania about 30 miles each from the towns of State College and Altoona Pennsylvania. Raystown Lake is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers flood control project constructed circa 1970. The project is approximately 30,000 acres in size with 8,300 water surface acres. The Raystown Lake project is under the management responsibility of the Corps of Engineers in the Baltimore District. The dam is located approximately 5 miles south of Huntingdon Pennsylvania on the Raystown Branch of the Juniata River. Equipment List - Trane air cooled chiller #CGAFC50EA, (1 ea.) Trane air handler units, (3 ea.) Trane unit heaters, 5 ea.) Chilled water pumps (1 ea.) Hot water pumps, (3 ea.) Weil McLain hot water boiler Model #80, (2 ea.)
