Description
The FAA Eastern Logistics Service Area, Boston Office currently has a new construction effort for the replacement of the cab roof and cab roof HVAC unit at the Worcester Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT), Worcester, MA. All work shall be done in accordance with the Specifications and Drawings as further described in Part III-Section J of this Screening Information Request (SIR) This solicitation is 100% set aside for Small Business Concerns with the NAIC code of 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction)$33.5 million The performance period is ninety (90) calendar days. The Request for Offer (RFO), including specifications, drawings and accociated documents are attached to the announcement. All documents are available in PDF format and may be viewed with the applicable version of adobe acrobat. This is a negotiated procurement that will result in a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The price range for this requirement is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. Performance and Payment bonds are required. "This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000. For further information and applicable forms concerning the STLP, call the OSDBU at (800) 532-1169."
