- Please note that this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The requirement is for providing Packing and Crating services of inbound and outbound Household effects, vehicles, containerized shipments, delivery and unpacking of incoming Household effects and general cargo, and other related services for the US Embassy Panama. The resultant contract will be a fixed price Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite- Quantity for one base period of twelve months and four one year periods at the option of the US Government. The US Government plans to issue the solicitation on the FedBizOpps during the month of May. No paper copies will be mailed. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered but electronic submissions will not be accepted. Please see the RFP for the actual response date. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may elect to award a single contract or multiple contracts for the same services to two or more sources under this solicitation.
