- Description
- The Tucson Area Indian Health Service intends to conduct a sole source procurement with the Tohono O'odham Utility Authority (TOUA). Through the use of the Arizona Corporate Commission the tribal authority is not regulated by the State of Arizona and the TOUA is the sole source provider for the Tohono O'odham Reservation. The Tucson Area Indian Health Service offices, facilities and residences reside on and under the boundaries of the Tohono O'odham Reservation. The TOUA is the only source that can provide the electricity services. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination to compete this procurement based on a response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties who believe they possess the capabilities to satisfy this requirement should submit a capability statement demonstrating their abilities to meet this requirement. All responses must be received by May 10, 2012 at 3:00 pm MST. All responses must be in writing and can be sent via email to peggy.patten@ihs.gov.
