- Description
- The Western Montana Acquisition Zone anticipates awarding a contract for gravel crushing and stockpiling at the Tough Creek Pit on the Bitterroot National Forest. The intent of this contract is to produce a predetermined quantity of a specified crushed aggregate from a private pit. Locations of the private pit shall be the responsibility of the contractor. The aggregate shall be delivered to the designated government site and built into a stockpile. Requirements for the private pit are as follows: The contractor shall be responsible for the location, development of pits and producing the specified quantities, on private land for the Tough Creek Pit stockpile site. All permits and other incidentals necessary for the development and reclamation of the pits on private land shall be the responsibility of the contractor. The quantity to be crushed and stockpiled in the Tough Creek Pit is 13,000 tons. The solictation is expected to be available on this website on May 9, 2012
