- Description
- NASA/DFRC intends to establish a purchase order with Eastern Kern County AirPollution Control District (EKAPCD), 2700 M Street, Suite 302, Bakersfield, CA93301-2370. EKAPCD is the regulation agency for air emission activities at DFRC locatedin Kern County. The annual operating fees are required to permit equipment, hot spotfees and new equipment applications. Government does not intend to acquire a commercialitem using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities andqualifications to perform the effort in writing to Gail Anton at gail.t.anton@nasa.gov nolater than 4:00 p.m. PDT on May 10, 2012. Such capabilities/qualifications will beevaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct thisprocurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete thisproposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to thisnotice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Questions regarding thisacquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred)no later than May 7,2012.Oral communications are unacceptable in response to this notice.
