- Description
- The US Army Medical Command Southern Region - East has a requirement for an on-site repair of a Coburn Technologies Generator Ophthalmic Lens. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The suggested contractor is Coburn Technologies, Inc., 55 Gerber Road East, South Windsor, CT 06074-3244 1 each One-time on-site repair of a Generator Ophthalmic Lens, model number: LENSMAKER XRT to include parts, labor and travel to and from Moncrief Army Community Hospital, Fort Jackson, SC. This is not a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. However, companies that can provide an equal or like product must submit their technical capabilities to include technical specifications of their product, past performance information, price and delivery time within three (3) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. This information will be reviewed by the end user, from Moncrief Army Community Hospital for consideration for future requirements. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Point of Contact: Linda M.
