- Description
- J&A in support of Delivery Order (DO) 0010 award. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) issued a delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-11-G-0003 to Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. (BHTI) to incorporate corrective action to change the current Remote Circuit Breaker (RCCB) to support the AIM-9 inverter in support of the United States Marine Corps H-1 Program. This procurement was procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), in that BHTI is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the H-1 aircraft. BHTI is the only know company with the knowledge, data and capability to manufacture these systems.
