Description
This is a special notice, not a request for either a quote, proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to obtain industry comments and knowledge for the purpose of assessing the availability of qualified woman owned small business sources. The 5th Contracting Squadron, Minot AFB ND is seeking sources for land mobile radio maintenance services. The NAICS code is 811213. The small business size standard is $10.0M. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought notice, if the Government still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published on www.fbo.gov. No solicitation is currently available. It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for future synopsis/solicitation as they will not be notified. The contractor would be responsible for providing personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform Land Mobile Radio (LMR) maintenance services on existing Motorola radios and equipment for Minot AFB, ND and the surrounding area up to a radial distance of 150 miles. The contractor shall maintain and repair LMR and related equipment in addition to installing fixed and mobile LMR equipment and accessories in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations, standard commercial practices, and Air Force and Department of Defense regulations. The Government shall be able to contact Contractor personnel 100% of the time. The Contractor shall respond in case of emergencies, outages, alerts and exercises, 24 hours a day, seven days per week. If contacted, the Contractor shall report for duty and provide services as necessary until the emergency, alert, or exercise is completed. Contractor must have specialized Motorola training for both XTS/XTL Technical Subscriber Academy Course ADST005 and CPS Programming and Template Building Course ADT001. Maintenance service shall include, Preventative Maintenance Inspection (PMI's), troubleshooting, maintenance, installations and removals of fixed station equipment, mobiles, portables, vehicular chargers, frequency changes or modifications, repairs to ancillary equipment such as battery chargers, interfacing with military equipment, adjustment, alignment, repair, replacement parts and components, required to maintain an item so that its performance will equal or exceed the OEM specifications. The contractor shall ensure a technician is available for contact and response to and repair routine items and/or system outages and problems. The Contract Manager or alternate shall be available during normal duty hours (0730-1730) within 60 minutes to meet, on the installation, with Government Personnel to discuss problem areas. After normal duty hours, the Manager or alternate shall be available within 2 hours. Woman-owned small business offerors having the skills and capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirement are invited to provide information to contribute to this sources sought, including commercial market information and company information via e-mail or facsimile (701-723-2895) to TSgt Jeff W.
