- Operations and Maintenance Combined Services at Various US Border Stations (USBS) Throughout the State of Maine. Solicitation Number: GS-01P-12-BW-D-0050 Agency: General Services Administration Office: Public Buildings Service (PBS) Location: North Service Center (1PK) Request For Proposal (RFP) for Performance Based - Commercial Items Procurement for Operations and Maintenance Combined Services at the United States Border Stations at the following locations: GROUP A USBS Calais New Bridge,ME USBS Calais Milltown, ME USBS Calais Vanceboro, ME USBS Calais Ferry Point, ME USBS St. Pamphile, ME GROUP B USBS Fort Kent, ME USBS Madawaska, ME USBS Van Buren, ME USBS Estcourt Station, ME Proposals will be entertained for either or both groups of locations. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside and will be issued as a negotiated procurement using FAR Part 15 source selection procedures. The resultant Contract will be for a period of 1base year with up to 4 pre-priced option years for a total potential performance period of 5 years. The NAICS code for this project is 561720 and the size standard is $15 million. The requirement is to provide janitorial services as well as preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems of a type typically found in modern office buildings. A requirement for responding to emergency situations within a timeframe typical of a professional office building in a metropolitan area (30 min) is also required. In addition to all janitorial and mechanical maintenance services identified in the solicitation there are requirements for snow plowing and removal; grounds maintenance/ landscaping, carpet extraction etc. The RFP will be issued on or about 05/08/2012. A pre-proposal conference will be scheduled for on or about 05/15/2012, at the US Border Station New Bridge, Border St., Calais, Maine 04619 followed by visits to the remaining sites. The contract start date is on or about 09/01/2012. The solicitation will be available to download via this website only (www.fedbizopps.gov). It is the Offeror's responsibility to monitor this website for the release of the RFP and any associated documents i.e. amendments, notices, etc. Offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP and associated documents.
