- The Mission & Installation Contracting Command- Fort Dix intends to solicit & award an acquisition for lodging services in the Farmingdale, NY area. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide the requested services. The place of performance is within twelve miles from 25 Baiting Place Road Farmingdale NY 11735. The period of performance for this effort is from 22 June 2012 - 24 June 2012. The resultant contract is anticipated to be a Firm-Fixed Price type contract. This acquisition is issued as a unrestricted under the primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 721110 and the related small business size standard of $30 million. This is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. For a proposal submitted by an offeror that is not a hotel, the offeror must describe in its proposal the technical approach for the offeror's services as a prime contractor and submit a complete technical proposal for evaluation purposes. (Again, this is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. An offer which requires the Government to execute a separate agreement with a third party hotel shall be deemed technically unacceptable). This synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not to be considered a request for quote/proposal. However, all responsible sources may submit a quote/proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Solicitation Number W911S1-12-T-0133 is assigned for reference purposes. The entire solicitation will be made available on or about 4 April 2012 via the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The required response date will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-56. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. Please be advised that hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available; you must download solicitation documents from the ASFI. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award.
