- The USPFO for Texas intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an firm-fixed price contract for a 4-day pre-deployment combat carbine course in June 2012. Training will be conducted at Camp Swift, Bastrop, TX. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide contracted services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 611699, All Other Miscellaneous Schools and Instruction. This synopsis is provided for informational purposes, and is not to be considered a request for proposal. Solicitation Number W912L1-12-R-0027 is assigned for reference purposes. The entire solicitation will be made available on or about 1 May 2012 via the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. The required response date will be stated in the solicitation. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. Please be advised that hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available; you must download solicitation documents from the ASFI. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award. Interested offerors are strongly encouraged to submit their representations and certifications on-line at http://orca.bpn.gov. You will need your DUNS number and CCR MPIN in order to log in to the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website. NOTE: This is a notice to industry only. No action is required for this pre-solicitation notice. No further information will be given nor will any questions be answered until the solicitation is posted.
