- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to negotiate on a Sole Source basis, a Firm Fixed Price contract with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Allstands Inc. of Bardstown, KY for the procurement of the technical drawings for Work Platforms, P/N FS-611. The acquisition of such data would be in the best interest of the government, as it would allow for future full and open competition procurements when any additional work platform requirements are needed. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) (https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. Allstands, Inc. owns the technical data which includes the drawings, dimensions, standards, materials, and the software source codes and processes required to manufacture the Work Platform P/N FS-611. This announcement constitutes the only public announcement prior to contract award; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
