- Under authority of FAR 6.302-1, the MICC-ICO, Fort Jackson, SC intends to extend the current contract for ice to Reddy Ice for a two month period. Reddy Ice is currently providing the product. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement to the contract specialist demonstrating its ability to provide the product as required. NOTE: Vendors shall be listed on the VETCOM List of Approved Sources in order to be considered. THIS IS NOT A FORMAL SOLICITATION! NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTES WILL BE ISSUED AS A RESULT OF THIS NOTICE AND NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED. A DETERMINATION TO PROCEED WITH THE CONTRACT MODIFICATION WILL BE BASED ON THE RESULTS OF THE RESPONSES RECEIVED. All capability statements shall be received by close of business on (4:15PM ET) 27 April 2012 in order to be considered. Capability statements for the Ice requirement should be emailed to the attention of the contract specialist at Lillian.w.darby@us.army.mil.
