- Description
- The Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region, has a need for construction services required to replace several sidewalks and curbs at our Snake River Area Office in Boise, Idaho. Specifically, the work consists of providing all design work, materials, supervision, and labor necessary to construct American Disability Act (ADA) compliant concrete sidewalk and curbing; and reconstruct four ramps at the Newell Building, 230 Collins Road, Boise, Idaho. The new concrete sidewalk shall be 17 feet in length from the east entrance to the adjoining street. The existing curbing will be required to be cut with a handicapped accessible ramp installed where the street meets the installed sidewalk. A 10-foot diameter gravel retention area shall include a drainage system comprised of 4" perforated piping in a bed of gravel starting 30' north of the east entrance running 108 feet and crossing underneath the new sidewalk to the holding pond on the south east corner of the facility. Gravel shall surround the piping and rise to the level of the existing landscaped elevation (except where needed to cross under the sidewalk). Width of the gravel bed shall be two feet, at a minimum. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code associated with this project is 236220. The small business size standard applicable to this project is $33.5 million in gross annual receipts averaged over the previous three 1-year accounting periods. Offerors will be accepted from all responsive and responsible small business concerns. Prospective contractors shall be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to the award of any contract. (For more information regarding registering in CCR, please visit www.ccr.gov.) Contractors shall note that this procurement will be issued APPROXIMATELY April 24, 2012.
