- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS; THIS IS A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SYNOPSIS IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.) PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. The Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards AFB, CA intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for a multi-directional slant linear antenna. This acquisition shall acquire a small, broadband omni-directional antenna, commercial, off-the-shelf, which will allow the ability to receive signals from L-Band (500 MHz) to KA-Band (18GHz) using a single slant linear unit. Must meet MIL-STD-810F Fig. 507.4-1 for humidity, Fig 2 Curve IVA for Vibration, and MIL-E-5400T Para 3.2.24.6.1 for shock. The Government is requesting that interested concerns furnish the following information: (1) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number and e-mail address. (2) Type of business, i.e., small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, HubZone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc. under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334220 with a Small Business Administration size standard of 750 employees. (3) Under which NAICS does your company usually perform? Please include the rational for your answer. (4) Include any previous acquisition contract numbers and, if possible, what was provided for the requiring activity. E-mail responses to this request for information are preferred, and should be sent to: nicholas.smith@edwards.af.mil. All questions must be submitted in writing and sent to the aforementioned point of contact.
