- SYNOPSIS: The Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Contracting Office, Fort Benning, Georgia anticipates awarding a base plus four option year contract for beverage products and accessories for Martin Army Community Hospital as ordered for the base period beginning 1 June 2012 through 31 July 2013. Beverages and accessories being procured are powdered soft drinks, coffee, tea, water, sports drinks, and carbonated drinks. The performance period is for a 12-month base period and four (4) one year options, if exercised. This requirement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 312111; with a size standard of 500. A solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) utilizing Sealed Bidding as per FAR Part 14. The solicitation and all amendments will be available at no cost on the Army Single Face to Industry Website (ASFI) at http://acquisition.army.mil and Federal Business Opportunities Website (FedBizOpps) at http://www.fbo.gov on or about 27 April 2012 with an anticipated closing date of 27 May 2012. The purpose of this Synopsis is for information gathering and planning purposes only, and for notification of an upcoming solicitation. A determination by the government on the method of competing this requirement has not been made. The Government will not award a contract based on this Synopsis, the information received, nor reimburse participants for information they provide. Information provided is strictly voluntary. Information provided will not be used as a part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. This synopsis is a notice of intent to solicit for the requirement stated above. Any new information or updates will be posted to this site as received. No response is required. All questions should be submitted no later than 12:00 p.m. EST on Friday, 20 April 2012.
