- Description
- DLA Information Operations at New Cumberland PA (J6N) located at San Diego CA has a requirement for a Contractor to provide IT support services for on-site hardware, software, and technical support for approximately 413 employees to augment existing Government IT support personnel. The objective is to ensure that all IT equipment, to include network servers/hardware, workstations, printers, portable computers, network infrastructure (cabling), and other miscellaneous IT equipment are functioning at all times to support mission requirements. These services are mission essential services. DLA Information Operations does not have the expertise in house to perform these services, so contractual services are required. Contract SP3100-09-C-0001 is currently in place with Bernardo Technical Services, Inc. (BTSI) for the above required services. The contract period of performance ends 19 April 2012. DLA Distribution located at New Cumberland, PA is currently in the process of re-competing the services under solicitation number SP3300-12-R-0010 and anticipates an award date by 1 June 2012. In order to ensure that a break in services is not experienced, DLA Information Operations would like to issue a sole source contract to BTSI for a period of three months. This award is a sole source award under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) "Only One Responsible Source/a Limited Number of Responsible Sources and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition will be posted after the execution of the contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 541513and the size standard is $25,000,000.00.
