- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into sole source negotiations with William-Pyro, for the procurement of ten (10) AWM-102 BRU-32 AUX Breech Adapter, P/N: 984A-14RA in support of the Finland F-18 program and an Option for two (2) in support of the Swiss F-18 program. William-Pyro is the OEM of the required Breech Adapter. William-Pyro owns the proprietary design and the necessary data required to manufacture the adapter. The Government does not own the rights to the data or drawings necessary to permit full and open competition. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C)(1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
