- Description
- This is a notice of the Government's intent to extend the period of performance and increase the contract dollar value for the current Survivability/Vulnerability Information Analysis Center (SURVIAC) contract. The contract is scheduled to expire 08 January 2013. The intent is to extend the present performance period for the timeframe required to execute the Defense Systems Technical Area Tasks acquisition (approximately 18 months). The Government intends to negotiate with the incumbent contractor, Booz Allen Hamilton, on a sole-source basis. This extension will permit the continuation of performance of the current SURVIAC contract while the requirement is recompeted. This is a non-commercial, Research & Development, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, Requirements contract that was awarded on a competitive basis. This is neither a Request for Proposal nor a solicitation of offers. Any information received from industry by close of business 2 May 2012, will be considered by the Government solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the Government's discretion.
