- This amendment is issued to clairify questions relative the replacement of the boat engine of a 2008 21' jet drive SAFEBOAT with a new engine. The engine to be provided/installed is a 6.2l LSA. There are no photos avaiable of the current 5.7 installation, though engineering review is that adequate space is available in the engine well. Vendor is responsible for designing and completing the replacement including provision of the US Coast Guard engineering certification for the increase in engine weight and horsepower. References must be provided for past similar work as called for in the original solicitation. The due date dfor receipt of proposals remains April 23, 2012 at 3:00pm.
