- ISSUE DATE: 04/18/12. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary for dredging and disposing by hydraulic means approximately 4,500 cubic yards of primarily silt from a mooring basin: Preparing an adjacent upland containment basin to receive the dredged material by excavating and disposing off-site existing material, building a containment berm around the site using existing materials, installing a de-watering structure and incidental related work. Dredging equipment shall be sized and operated in such a manner as to accommodate the available size of the containment basin and de-watering rate of the de-watering structure. The estimated cost range of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Bid, payment and performance bonds will be required. The applicable NAICS code is 237990, with a size standard $20 million. The anticipated construction time is 90 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 05/03/2012. The tentative date set for bid opening is on or about June 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. This acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR Part 14, and in accordance with FAR Part 19.502-2 is 100% set-aside for small business concerns.
