- Description
- Sandia National Laboratories seeks licensees for patents #7,036,146 [title "System and Method for Secure Group Transactions"; inventor Steven Goldsmith; issue date Apr 25, 2006; SD #6749 ], #6,754,643 [title "Adaptive method with intercessory feedback control for an intelligent agent"; inventor Steven Goldsmith; issue date June 22, 2004; SD #6764], #6,526,443 [title "Method and apparatus for managing transactions with connected computers"; inventor Steven Goldsmith, Laurence R Phillips, Shannon V Spires; issue date Feb 25, 2003; SD #6271]. Systems employing software agents to perform various tasks and functions are becoming commonplace but suffer from inherent security and reliability problems associated with agent coordination. These patents address these underlying problems through an inherently secure architectural and communications framework for agent communications and control. Furthermore, this framework supports adaptive coordination between agents through coordinated reprogramming. The framework is very general and can be applied to solve numerous classes of problems in different fields. To express interest in this opportunity, please respond by mail to Robert Westervelt by May 14, 2012 at: Sandia National Laboratories, MS 0114, PO Box 5800, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87185, email: rtweste@sandia.gov, phone: 505.284.6752. Please indicate the date and title of the FBO notice. Include company and contact information as well as a brief statement (no more than 500 words) of interest, intent and capabilities relevant to commercializing this technology. Sandia National Laboratories is a multi-program laboratory managed and operated by Sandia Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Corporation, for the U.S. Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration under contract DE-AC04-94AL85000.
