- Description
- The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Indian Health Service (IHS), Tucson Area Office is soliciting proposals from interested vendors for a Nurse Triage System to be provided to eligible American Indians and Alaskan Natives after hours (Monday - Friday, 5:00pm - 8:00am), weekends and Federal holidays. The Nurse Triage System objective is to help determine if eligible patients can be treated at home or be referred to a local urgent care or emergency room facility. The contract will include one (1) base year and four (4) option years. The Nurse Triage shall include the following: Contractor shall provide personnel, labor, materials, equipment and services for providing a telephone-based nurse triage system to the following locations: San Xavier Health Center (Tucson, AZ), Sells Indian Hospital (Sells, AZ), Santa Rosa Health Center (Santa Rosa, AZ) and San Simon Health Center (San Simon, AZ). The Tucson Area IHS estimates 75-100 calls per month to be processed by the Contractor. Anticipated start date: July 01, 2012 - June 30, 2013 with four (4) options to extend. RFQ #12-249-SOL-0018 Opening date: April 24, 2012 Closing date: May 24, 2012 Request for copies of the RFQ will be available on April 24, 2012 with proposals due no later than May 24, 2012.
